A creative designer by trade, I have worked for various publishing houses in Brighton and London over the course of 15 years. Throughout 10 of those years I was a magazine designer, for which I won an award for magazine designer of the year.

After GCSE then A level Art, I pursued a year-long art foundation course specialising in fashion and textiles. I followed this up with a degree in print and photo media at art school, which involved making a short film, designing CD Roms and interface design.

In the world of work, I went from Art Director to Senior Designer to eventually deciding to design for myself. Four years on, I am very glad that I made that decision.

Having had such s design-led life, I have been able to apply my skills in a variety of ways, from designing my first house, landscaping a garden and designing my own range of furniture. I also put my creative skills to work within the culinary world.

I not only have the imagination but I also have the practical know-how which enables me to turn two dimensions into three dimensions and thoroughly enjoy the challenges that designing and creating bring.
